• Pennsylvania — First RHTP funding opportunity opens May 1: $25M Rapid Response Stabilization, $10K–$1M payments, due June 1 or until capped.
• North Dakota — Active April 30 CAH workforce and May 22 prevention/wellness deadlines remain live, with May 4–6 TA calls.
• Indiana — GROW Regional Grant LOIs due May 1; full applications due July 1.

• Maryland — Maryland remains active across the Pillar 2 Transformation RFA, Garrett County revenue-cycle/billing TA RFP, and rural/local food procurement grant path, with the local food application deadline on May 15.
• Pennsylvania — $25M Rapid Response Stabilization is open; applications run May 1–June 1 or until the funding cap is reached. Payments range from $10K to $1M.
• West Virginia — The first-tranche OASIS funding path remains active in the early-May window; keep provider and local-partner outreach aligned to the state portal and FAQ package.

Northeast

• Iowa — Iowa moved into coming-soon mode with official Healthy Hometowns notices of intent for cancer, cardiovascular, school-based services, mobile integrated health, maternal health, high-risk OB/neonatal transport, co-location, and public-health lead entities, plus a Maternal Health Hub and Spoke RFI.
• Minnesota — Minnesota added an RHTP ECHO for Maternal and Behavioral Health RFP. Informational webinar is May 13, questions are due May 22, and applications are due June 10. Direct allocations and HIT TA also remain active.
• North Dakota — North Dakota expanded its May grant wave with workforce rotations, Train in Place, FQHC/CAH rightsizing, behavioral-health promotion, safety-net delivery, and prevention/community opportunities. Key due dates: May 15, May 22, and May 29.
• New Hampshire — GO-NORTH Evaluation Services remains an active contractor/evaluation pathway, with responses due May 22 at 2:30 PM.
• Ohio — Community Health Worker Training and Technical Assistance remains open with a June 15 close date.
• Wisconsin — Wisconsin remains coming soon. DHS RHTP materials were revised April 24 and DPI continues to flag a rural LEA grant opportunity coming in spring 2026.

• Arkansas — Arkansas THRIVE Year 1 NOFO remains a major open lane. The application portal opens May 11 and closes June 12, with up to $55.65M across LIFELINE, HOME, VIRTUAL, and TECH Fund.
• North Carolina — NCDHHS selected NC ROOTS Hub Leads on May 1: Impact Health, Trillium, Vaya, UNC Hospitals, and Access East. Contracts are targeted by June 1, creating named regional partner-entry paths.
• Oklahoma — Oklahoma’s funding page was modified May 6 and shows active Doula Program RFI due May 8, OSDE ROOTS due May 25, Chronic Disease Management NOFO due June 8, and Rural Regional Reorientation NOFO due June 12.
• South Carolina — Four Year 1 grant tracks remain open through June 1, with awards anticipated July 31.

• Colorado — HCPF added a public webinar on allowable vs. non-allowable RHTP expenses for May 19. RFA materials remain forecasted.
• Hawaii — Official EMSAC materials confirm SHPDA RHTP funding and planning/procurement coordination across RHIN, RICA, Pili Ola, Home Run, Rural Respite, and RVBI. No official public solicitation package was verified by May 7.
• Montana — Montana added an RHTP Center of Excellence Advisory Council application window. Applications opened April 30 and close May 22, while CoE/implementation RFP activity remains active.
• Oregon — Catalyst Awards remain open through May 26.
• Utah — Utah’s official funding table now shows the GME Strategic Plan opportunity estimated to open May 30, with one award up to $1.6M and an estimated June 15 start.
• Washington — Mobile Health Assistance Van / Rural Health Outreach RFI remains active through May 31.

Mid-Atlantic

• Kentucky — The Public Health Dental Hygiene Teams RFA moved into recently closed status after the April 24 due date.
• Maryland — April implementation materials continue to frame Maryland as near-term rather than fully live, but the state now clearly anchors an April 28 pre-proposal conference and says program roll-out is expected in May/June 2026.
• Tennessee — Tennessee’s public engagement path expanded with replay links now live for the March 31 and April 15 rural transformation webinars.
• West Virginia — West Virginia published a new April FAQ package and continues to push the market toward a live listserv, advisory structure, engagement sessions, and coming competitive application activity.
• West Virginia — April 28 became a live funding milestone: the Governor announced the first $28.56M RHTP tranche, with six targeted opportunities across Mountain State Care Force, HealthTech Appalachia, and Connected Care Grid. Materials route through wvOASIS; the promised AFA release webinar does not yet have a verified public date.
• Maryland — The combined RFA path remains a near-term sales lane: April 17 materials point to April 20 RFA release, an April 28 pre-proposal conference, and eMaryland Marketplace posting.

Northeast

• Pennsylvania — Pennsylvania moved from forecasted to active with its first RHTP funding opportunity: a $25M Rapid Response Stabilization Program for supplies, equipment, renovations, and structural improvements; applications run May 1–June 1.
• Delaware — Delaware remains one of the clearest early public procurement states, with the February RFP wave still standing as a visible market-entry path.
• Indiana — GROW Regional Grants remain one of the strongest open public paths, with LOIs due May 1 and full regional submissions due July 1.
• Minnesota — Provider-side RHTP funding remains active, while the HIT vendor RFP remains past due after the April 22 deadline. Final direct-allocation applications are due May 15.
• Nebraska — Multiple active RFAs remain in market and the spring award wave continues. Additional RFA rounds are expected throughout the year.
• New Jersey — New Jersey moved to recently closed status for its April RHTP CHW and Doula RFA lanes; monitor NJDOH Notice of Grant and SAGE for follow-on packages.
• New Jersey — Doula Integration remains the clearest public New Jersey package, with the application deadline on April 27.
• North Dakota — April 22–27 activity remains one of the strongest late-month moves, with three new community/prevention opportunities and linked technical-assistance calls on May 4–6.
• North Dakota — The April 27 staffing announcement added tribal liaison and rural health care advisor capacity to help guide implementation and improve access to multiple funding opportunities.
• Ohio — Ohio’s grant solicitation list now shows a Rural Health Transformation Program / Healthier Ohio Initiatives lane with an application due date of June 9.
• Wisconsin — Wisconsin remains forecasted, but DHS source materials continue to point to advisory-council implementation and future innovation grants; keep vendor registration and procurement monitoring active.
• Ohio — Ohio continues to route public market visibility through its searchable solicitation repository and reference-document pages.
• South Dakota — Digital health modernization and coordinated delivery RFP activity remains live through state channels following the March second-round release.

• Mississippi — On April 29, Mississippi launched a dedicated RHTP Office and official website, named Richard Grimes as project director, and moved into implementation-readiness. Treat as a stakeholder-entry and account-planning signal until funding packages are posted.
• Florida — April 14–22 remains the largest visible public move in market: Florida launched procurement opportunities on April 14 and announced more than $188 million in competitive RFA funding opportunities on April 22.
• Georgia — Georgia moved from simple forecasted watch to a live stakeholder-engagement lane on April 22 with GREAT Health Advisory Council nominations.
• North Carolina — Public signal remains anchored to the ROOTS Hub Lead path, town halls, information sessions, and a clear emphasis on hub selection and launch.
• South Carolina — Four Year 1 grant tracks remain live and unchanged in structure. Applications due June 1; anticipated awards July 31.
• Texas — Texas moved to active with two HHSC RFA listings: Rural Texas Strong Initiative 4, released April 27 and due May 27, and the FY2026 Rural Hospital Innovation Grant Program, released April 16 and due May 28.

West

• California — California’s April 21 Spring 2026 webinar kept the state visible as an early engagement market even without a live competitive package; HCAI’s CalRHT resource list now includes March FAQ/briefing and project/budget narrative links.
• Alaska — Alaska posted an April 21 LOI process update: nearly 1,800 LOIs are under review, with applicant status updates targeted for mid-May and Year 2 LOI/application timing anticipated for late summer.
• Montana — Montana remains in active procurement mode around the Center of Excellence and implementation support path, with vendor resources and advisory materials still posted.
